Delete electronic prescriptions

You can delete electronic prescriptions from the 1800MEDICARE app that you no longer need.

  1. Log in to the 1800MEDICARE app

    Open the 1800MEDICARE app, select Log in.

  2. Select 'Medicines & electronic prescriptions'

    Select Medicines & electronic prescriptions.

  3. Select 'Electronic prescriptions'

    Select Electronic prescriptions.

  4. Delete electronic prescription

    Scroll down and select the electronic prescription(s) you wish to delete.

    Select the bin icon in the top right of the screen.

    Select Confirm.

    If you delete an electronic prescription by mistake, you will need to find the original electronic prescription that was sent to you by email or SMS and add it back into the app. If you do not have the original electronic prescription message, you will need to contact the prescriber or dispenser if it's a repeat.
