Reset your app PIN

If you've set up a 6-digit app PIN in addition to your device's security and have forgotten it, you'll need to remove the app and reinstall it.

You have 5 attempts to enter the correct PIN.

  1. Uninstall or remove the 1800MEDICARE app

    Find the 1800MEDICARE app on your device.

    Press and hold the app icon.

    Select Uninstall or Remove app.

    Confirm the uninstall.

  2. Download the 1800MEDICARE app

    Search for "1800MEDICARE" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to download.

    Turn on automatic app updates to ensure you get the latest features, bug fixes and security improvements without needing to update it manually.

  3. Set up the app

    Set up the app again by signing in to myGov and allowing access to My Health Record.
