Ben has worked with the local PHN and pharmacy organisations to deliver My Health Record enablement and training to pharmacists in more than 300 pharmacies. Ben’s appointments also include the Pharmacy Board of Australia and the board of Hunter New England Local Health District (HNE LHD). Ben also works as a director in a not-for-profit primary care organisation. Ben has a strong interest in technological applications to improve health outcomes and he remains passionate about lifestyle and technological measures to improve the community’s wellbeing.

Nicole has experience working in a number of clinical areas, specialising in Critical Care and Nutrition. Nicole is a member of the Society of Hospital Pharmacist Critical Care Practice Group and the Medication Safety Practice Group. Nicole has a special interest in Electronic Clinical Information Systems and has worked on multiple projects involving the customisation, quality assurance and implementation of these systems in Australian and United Kingdom hospitals.

Clinical PharmacistSarah is an experienced clinical pharmacist, with an interest in the immense possibilities to improve patient health through the incorporation of digital services. Sarah has worked in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and is also an accredited pharmacist performing home medicines reviews. Within the hospital setting, she has worked in a range of clinical areas including surgical, medical, and rehabilitation wards. She has also worked in critical care areas including coronary care, emergency and intensive care.The experience of working in various clinical areas has highlighted opportunities where digital health can optimise patient care, particularly relating to timely access to medical information of critically ill patients; and ensuring continuity of care on hospital discharge. Sarah currently works as the acting Critical Care pharmacist at EPIC Pharmacy St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane.

Clinical practice also including aged care, and medication reviews for older people. Shane has significant experience in the delivery of education programs to a variety of health professionals. He mixes clinical and research with 56 peer-reviewed papers, and 52 professional publications. Senior Clinical Lecturer, University of Tasmania. Shane is the Immediate Past National President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia and is currently Director of the Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy.
