Digital strategy – responsible for national digital health design and strategy, underpinned by strong clinical governance and digital health standards.
Primary purpose of position
As the Clinical Governance Manager, you will have a comprehensive understanding of clinical governance, health service delivery, and a commitment to continuous improvement including an ability to pioneer new ways of thinking, in for example system safety thinking.
The Clinical Governance Manager will work with a high degree of independence, in implementing clinical governance in a digital health context, across multiple work areas, through the provision of expert advice. In so doing the position will influence and support internal and external stakeholders in the application of the Agency’s Clinical Governance Framework, and demonstrate alignment with the Agency Establishment Rule (PGPA) 2016. Confident stakeholder management and communications skills will be required.
Highly desirable is a strong understanding of health service delivery, a tertiary qualification in a clinical discipline, and a post graduate qualification in health service management.
The Clinical Governance Manager will lead by example in upholding a team culture of professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Post-graduate certificate or higher in health service management and/or clinical governance Experience in the health sector with a sound understanding of health service delivery
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration within clinical field of study
- Experience in a digital health environment
