Edit healthcare locations

Locations are the places where your organisation provides healthcare services. Locations can be a physical address, or they can be mobile or virtual. Each of your healthcare services is attached to a location.

Summary of steps to edit your Healthcare Locations:

  • From the Your Organisations screen, click on the Healthcare Location that you wish to edit (next to the map icon), which could be under the PO, HI or SO icon.
  • Click on the Edit Location button at the top right of the screen.
  • In the Location Details section, you can edit the location name and select the checkbox to indicate if this location is active, or de-select the checkbox to indicate if this location is not active. Note: you can only un-select the checkbox if you have first deactivated all attached healthcare services.
  • In the Location Type section, edit whether the location is a Physical location, Mobile unit or Virtual. If you select Mobile unit, an additional drop-down box will appear for you to search for mobile unit types.
  • In the Amenities section, click in the search bar and add the amenities that are available at this location or click the 'X' beside any amenities to be removed.
  • In the Contact section, click the button to 'Copy contact information from organisation', or edit the manually entered contact details.
  • In the Street Address section, enter the new street address of the location. Note: the 'Street Address' section will not appear for Mobile unit or Virtual location types.
  • In the Postal Address section, select either: same as main address, no postal address, or specify a different postal address.
  • Once complete, click on the Update Location button.

    Detailed steps:

    Step 1

    From the Your Organisations screen:

    1. Click on the Healthcare Location (next to the map icon), which could be under the PO, HI or SO icon.

    Step 2

    1. On the Location Details screen, click on the Edit Location button at the top right of the screen.

    Step 3

    In the Location Details section, you can:

    1. Edit the location name

    2. Select the checkbox to indicate if this location is active, or de-select the checkbox to indicate if this location is not active (only if all attached healthcare services have first been deactivated).

    Step 4

    In the Location Type section, edit whether the location is a:

    1. Physical location

    2. Mobile unit, or

    3. Virtual

    If you select Mobile Unit, an additional drop-down box will appear for you to search for mobile unit types.

    Step 5

    In the Amenities section:

    1. Click in the search bar and add the amenities that are available at this location, or

    2. Click the 'X' beside any amenities to be removed.

    Step 6

    In the Contact section:

    1. Click the button to “Copy contact information from organisation”, or

    2. Edit the manually entered contact details.

    Step 7

    In the Street Address section:

    1. Enter the new street address of the location.

    2. Select a listed street address.

    Note: the “Street Address” section will not appear for Mobile unit or Virtual location types.

    Step 8

    In the Postal Address section, select either:

    1. Same as main address, no postal address, or specify a different postal address.

    Step 9

    1. Once complete, click on the Update Location button.
