Engaging with Primary Health Networks (PHNs) to support My Health Record Expansion

A series of workshops are being held around the country, aimed at providing in depth learning on the My Health Record Expansion Program, focusing on engagement strategies, planning and how to access toolkits and resources with Primary Health Networks (PHNs) and Jurisdictional colleagues.

Over 100 PHN colleagues flew into Sydney for a two day workshop on 28-29 November 2017, which was facilitated by the Agency's Clinician and Consumer Engagement and Clinical Governance Division. Participants expressed that the workshop was a great introductory to the Program.

The My Health Record Expansion Program communications stream are also facilitating workshops and have recently held a session with all Queensland PHNs and Western Australia Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) to support local communication planning for the My Health Record Expansion program.

Over the next few weeks sessions will also be held in Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. These workshops aim to provide a detailed briefing on the communications strategy and provide support on local planning, to identify dependencies and specific requirements for particular regions and demographics. An all Jurisdictions workshop was also held in Sydney on Thursday 30 November.
