Acting Chief Digital Officer

Rupert Lee is responsible for identifying and driving implementation opportunities, developing strategic adoption and investment plans with external partners, managing key relationships, delivering technical implementation services and driving the clinical use of digital health.

Rupert leads engagement with key stakeholder groups including jurisdictions, private hospitals, clinical peaks, primary health networks, software developers and commercial organisations. Rupert and his team coordinate and optimise digital health adoption opportunities aligned to stakeholder strategic plans and organisational goals and Australia’s National Digital Health Strategy.

Before working at the Agency, Rupert held key roles with leading national ICT organisations – including the National eHealth Transition Authority and the Distributed Systems Technology Centre – focusing on stakeholder engagement, business development, program delivery and the commercialisation of emerging technologies.
