Dr Kylie Henderson offers subject matter expertise in mental health, disability, and digital health as acknowledged by the following recognised standings: 

  • elected secretary of the Australian Psychological Society Clinical College is an AHPRA qualified clinical psychologist, 
  • a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Digital Health, 
  • a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, 
  • Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors,
  • An adjunct Psychological research fellow position with the University of Southern Queensland,
  • Candidate for Certified Health Informatician Australia and 
  • a fellow of the Royal Society for Arts in London.

Dr Henderson practices as the director of one of the largest privately owned allied health groups Humanity Health Group. Humanity Health is a multidisciplinary team of 450 employed allied health professionals including psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dieticians, behavioural support practitioners, exercise physiologists, and speech pathologists. Humanity Health delivers services from pediatrics through the entire lifespan to older adults. These services are delivered in clinics, in the community, in schools, in employment offices and in aged care facilities. Mental health and allied health assessments, interventions, group programs and reports are our core services delivered in a range of markets. One of Dr Henderson’s key report is the Chief Clinical Governance Officer whom together they are responsible for ensuring contemporary clinical practices are delivered across the business, ensuring both the highest level of evidence-based service delivery, and safety for our patients. Dr Henderson offers the Agency an in-depth understanding of contemporary clinical practice in the mental health sector, recognising the intersection of mental health with most other health conditions.
 
Dr Henderson advocates for the national digital health infrastructure to align with contemporary practices of mental health clinicians. Supporting the services Humanity Health delivers across sectors is a digital health tool developed by Dr Henderson to provide lite mental health support to communities. Humanity Health operate across Australia and the UK. 
Having previously worked for the Agency on the integration of MyHealthRecord, Dr Kylie is keen to see digital services enhanced to provide wrap around services that are both safe and supportive for vulnerable groups, including those marginalized such as those diagnosed with mental health and disabilities. 

Dr Henderson is a keen advocate for consumers and clinicians having presented at several local and international conferences in her 25 year professional career. However, more recently to advocate for broader clinical and consumer engagement including:

During Covid, Dr Henderson was invited by the Mental Health Commissioner to deliver several webinars to the Department of Justice. She also delivered a number of webinars to promote mental health best practices for employees in both Australia and the UK.
