Kate Renzenbrink Digital Health Advisor

Kate is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in acute care and aged care nursing including clinical education, general medicine, stroke, cardiothoracic, gynaecology and cancer nursing. In addition to her Nursing background, Kate has worked in quality and safety as well as clinical advisory and governance roles in health services and with the Victorian Department of Health. As a Digital Health Nurse Leader and as the former Chief Nursing and Midwifery Information Officer at Bendigo Health and Western Health, Kate ensures that Nurses and Midwives have the digital health skills to meet the challenges of contemporary practice. She holds a Bachelor of Health Informatics (Professional Honours) and is a Certified Health Informatician, Australasia as well as a member of the Australian College of Nursing CNIO Faculty. Kate is a strong advocate for patient-centred care and consumer partnership promoting the ethical use of technology to improve equity and access to care including the use of My Health Record by consumers and clinicians.
