Professor Warren Harding AM

Professor Warren Harding AM has a distinguished career in specialist health, strategy, technology and information systems and large complex project delivery experience in Government and Corporate roles across Asia Pacific. He has over 30 years at Managing Partner level with international consulting firms including Senior Adviser to McKinsey and Co. He was a former Ministerial Adviser to a Deputy Premier on technology and communications. He was appointed by Cabinet as the WA Minister for Health’s Nominee on the WA Sustainable Health Review and was a strong advocate for digital health investment, creating a digital patient journey and closing the gap between health outcomes and costs. He has deep experience in Medtech, digital health innovation and commercialisation and is currently deploying AI enabled use cases in personalised healthcare, precision medicine, remote patient monitoring and early digital detection of dementia.

Professor Harding is a leading global healthcare consultant, a member of the Federal Department of Health and Aged Care, Dementia Expert Reference Group; Advisory member of the National Institute for Lifespan Health and Wellbeing Research Centre. Former Board member of the WA Disability Services Commission and is currently Chairman of Alzheimer’s WA and leading their research and innovation program to support new models of care and care settings in aged care and for people living with dementia. He holds an appointment by the WA Cabinet as Chair of the Biosecurity Council of WA and is also a State appointed Independent Reviewer of a major state-wide industry.  

Professor Harding has a B.Sc First Class Hons; Grad Dip Media; British Council Scholar, London School of Economics; Professor at the School of Medicine, Macquarie University; Adjunct Professor Faculty of Health Science Curtin University, Adjunct Professor Digital Health, University of Notre Dame, GAICD. He was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in 2023 in the King’s Birthday awards for services to business, technology and community health.
