Ms Sarah Loughrey

Sarah is an experienced clinical pharmacist, with an interest in the immense possibilities for improving patient health through the incorporation of digital services. Sarah has worked in community pharmacy, hospital pharmacy and is also an accredited pharmacist performing home medicines reviews. Within the hospital setting, she has worked in a range of clinical areas including surgical, medical, and rehabilitation wards. She has also worked in critical care areas including coronary care, emergency and intensive care. The experience of working in various clinical areas has highlighted opportunities where digital health can optimise patient care, particularly relating to timely access to medical information of critically ill patients; and ensuring continuity of care on hospital discharge. Sarah currently works as the acting Critical Care pharmacist at EPIC Pharmacy St Andrews War Memorial Hospital and The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane.
