    Webinar Electronic prescriptions follow up Q&A

    Summary Due to the number of participants and questions asked in the previous session on 23 September, we are providing another electronic prescriptions Q&A session, which will address common questions raised by healthcare providers, (e.g. workflow changes, consumer resources) and what you need to do to enable your practice/pharmacy for electronic prescriptions. The Australian Digital Health Agency will be available to respond to your questions and provide practical advice around implementation aspects.

    All healthcare providers and their staff are welcome to attend this session.

    Summary Over two billion documents have been uploaded to the national My Health Record system and with increasing clinical content, nursing staff may have access to more current and up to date information than ever before about their patients.

    Come and join us for a panel discussion attended by representatives from the Australian College of Nursing, Australian Digital Health Agency and a Nurse who has incorporated My Health Record into their daily workflow. There will be opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.

  • Webinar Digital health infrastructure basics for pharmacy

    Summary The implementation of electronic prescriptions is well underway, with a managed roll-out occurring in some regions across Australia. Pharmacy staff are encouraged to implement the electronic prescription readiness checklist to ensure they are ready to accept electronic prescriptions. This webinar will address the technical prerequisites of dispensing electronic prescriptions, including how to connect to the Healthcare Identifiers Service and the digital certificates required within your dispensary software. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

    Webinar My Health Record for mental health professionals – supporting care delivery to people with complex health needs

    The Australian Digital Health Agency is pleased to present an interactive session on My Health Record for mental health professionals and will discuss the recently published Mental Health Toolkit which includes a range of practical resources to assist you in providing care for your clients. This session is intended for healthcare providers including psychiatrists, psychologists, GPs, mental health nurses, social workers and community health workers.
