Royal College of General Practioners (RACGP) GP19, Adelaide, 24-26 October 2019

GP19 will kick off a new era of conferencing for the Royal College of General Practioners (RACGP). GP19: _Your patients. Your community. Your solutions._ will see a transition into a full clinical update conference. With an exciting new format delivering dynamic education with a focus on topics that affect GPs in their clinical settings. You will also experience an extensive array of hands-on, interactive and highly engaging sessions with take away skills to implement in your everyday practice.

National General Assembly (NGA) of Local Government Exhibition - Future Focused, Canberra, 16-19 June 2019

The National General Assembly (NGA) of Local Government brings together over 850 conference participants representives of Australia's 537 councils. Local Government employs around 195,000 Australians (just over 10 per cent of the total public sector), owns and manages non-financial assets estimated at $245 billion (2007-08), raises around 3.5 per cent of Australia's total taxation revenue per annum and has an annual expenditure or around $29 billion (2010-11) which is just under 6 per cent of total public sector spending. The exhibition will be held at the National Convention Centre, Canberra from 16-19 June 2019.

eHealth Expo, Brisbane, 6 June 2019

Healthcare is being transformed through digital innovations and technologies - the annual eHealth Expo showcases those improving patient care in Queensland hospitals. The Expo also celebrates the latest digital products and services which will help shape the future of healthcare. The event brings together clinicians, healthcare professionals, IT experts, vendors, start-ups and researchers to focus on digital transformation and innovation in healthcare.

COTA ACSA Governance in Aged Care, Sydney, 29-30 May 2019

Boards governing aged care providers are increasingly under scrutiny during this period of immense change for aged care providers. With the Royal Commission underway, providers are being called at short notice to provide evidence and account for the quality and safety of their service delivery. At the same time, the new Aged Care Safety and Quality Commission is paving the way towards accreditation against the new standards from July this year, with a specific focus on governance with Standard 8, and the government continues a reform agenda with a focus on consumer directed care. This event is being held at the Sydney Boulevard Hotel on the 29-30 May 2019.
