National Clinical Terminology Service webinar series February 2020

17 February, 2020: The National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS) of the Australian Digital Health Agency, in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) and the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IHPA) are co-presenting a webinar in February 2020. The presentation will provide an overview of some of the code sets used in healthcare, specifically clinical terminologies (SNOMED CT-AU) and health classifications (ICD-10-AM), and how they support clinical data entry, communication, reporting and analytics.

Please note that this webinar will be held using Microsoft Teams.

My Health Record: Private Hospital and Health Services

This webinar was recorded on 14 May 2018 and focussed on the awareness and use of My Health Record in private hospitals. This webinar aimed to:

  • Identify the benefits of the My Health Record system for patients as consumers, hospital organisations and clinicians.
  • Introduce the type of clinical documents available to hospital clinicians.
  • Highlight key privacy legislation and security features underpinning the My Health Record system
  • Consumer questions and supporting readiness of the My Health Record expansion program

The Australian Digital Health Agency in collaboration with the CSIRO, hosted three webinars ahead of its fifth technical Connectathon on the National Clinical Terminology Service (NCTS) including its use of HL7's Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®). These webinars are open to anyone interested in attending.
