Your health is in your hands

You can access your immunisation history or find out when your next COVID vaccine is due.

If you want to be informed of changes to your immunisation information, you can set an SMS or email notification.

Quick facts

About online access

Anyone with internet access and a phone or computer can access their health information.

About viewing access

If you have a My Health Record and are set up for online access, you have the option of using a mobile app. Mobile apps are a secure and simple way to access your details.

What's the difference between 'access' and 'viewing access'?

Apps connected to the My Health Record system give you secure ‘view only’ access to your My Health Record. When accessing your record through myGov, you can manage and update your record.

What to do if you think information is missing

If there are documents missing that you think should be there, ask your doctor to upload them.

Contact My Health Record Help line: 1800 723 471.
The Help line is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Free call (call charges apply from mobile phones).
If you need an interpreter, please call TIS National on 131 450.

COVID-19 Phase 1B eligibility

You can use the information in your My Health Record to show an underlying health condition, and may be eligible for an earlier COVID-19 vaccination.

No one knows when they’ll need access to their health information. It could be in a crisis or in an emergency at two in the morning. Fortunately, all you need to access your immunisations, allergy lists or medicines information and more, is a mobile or computer.

Getting started

The first thing you will need to do is make sure that My Health Record is linked to your myGov account.

  • Log in to myGov to set up access to your record. (If you don’t have a myGov account, you’ll need to create one first. Learn more.)
  • Link your record by selecting it from the ‘Link My Services’ list.
  • If you need help call us on 1800 723 471 (option 1), available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

There are two ways to either access or view your health information

1. Online - full access

You can securely upload, view and add or manage all the health information in My Health Record from any device. You can also see information on your underlying health conditions or medicines as well as your COVID-19 pathology results.

2. Using an app - viewing only

You can securely view any health information in your record through the Healthi or HealthNow apps. You can also see information on your underlying health conditions or medicines as well as your COVID-19 pathology results.
