The course provides foundational knowledge of SNOMED CT-AU, why standardised terminology is important for safe and connected care, how it is structured, and where it is used within the Australian health system. By addressing gaps in awareness and understanding, the course supports the effective adoption and use of SNOMED CT-AU to improve the quality, consistency and interoperability of health information.
