Learning outcomes
On completing this course participants will be able to:
- Be aware of FHIR terminology specific to Australia
- Describe how code systems, value sets and related vocabulary terminology artifacts and principles are applied within the FHIR terminology module
- Explain how the FHIR terminology module supports coded data in FHIR resources and profiles
- Use the FHIR terminology resources resource types, data types and operations for creating specifications and implementing solutions that represent and exchange coded data
- Describe the typical capabilities and usage scenarios of a FHIR terminology service.
