As an executive sponsor, I aim to ensure that our procurement efforts align with the strategic vision, delivering scalable and innovative solution that significantly improve patient care and seamlessly integrate technology into the organisation.

Acceptance criteria

1. Strategic alignment

  • The procured system or technology is fit-for-purpose and supports the strategic objectives of the organisation.
  • It is compatible with existing workflows and capable of supporting future state requirements and needs.

2. Financial impacts

  • The system or technology is within budget and a sound commercial investment that will contribute to achieving the strategic objectives of the organisation.
  • It will provide improved workflows and greater access to clinical data, reducing wastage and improved productivity.
  • The current investment granted to the vendor yields a Return of Investment (ROI) that is congruent to the organisation’s benefit realisation plan.

3. Seamless technology

  • The system or technology is designed for seamless integration with both existing and legacy platforms, ensuring backward compatibility.
  • The vendor offers support to the implementation team to foster a rapid deployment process.
  • Training materials and learning modules are readily available to facilitate quick adoption of the new system.
