Some of your Medicare information is available to view in your record. You can view, add or edit the types of Medicare information available at any time.
Medicare information available in your record
Medicare information is held by Services Australia and the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) and is available in your My Health Record.
Information that may be available includes:
Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) information or, if applicable, Repatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (RPBS) information
Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) – This includes immunisations you have received that are recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register.
Australian Organ Donor Register (AODR) information – This includes details of any organ and/or tissue donation decisions you have made. Only decisions recorded with the Australian Organ Donor Register will be visible.
Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) information or, if applicable, Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) claims information
You can also manage which nominated representatives can access your Medicare information by changing the My Representatives settings under the Privacy and Access tab.
How to view your Medicare information
If you agree to have Medicare information included in your My Health Record, you can view the information in the Medicare Overview section of your record.
